DSME was founded in 1973 at Okpo Bay, Geoje Island, located on the southeastern tip of the Korean Peninsula. It has since grown into one of the leading shipbuilding contractors, specializing in the construction of various vessels, offshore platforms, drilling rigs, FPSO/FPUs, and submarines.

This DSME-led project is done in collaboration with industry leaders to develop a new shaft generator motor (SGM) system. This innovative technology allows shipowners to minimize CO2 emissions while also increasing efficiency.

Hierarchy was approached to design and create graphic elements to showcase this system to potential buyers at multiple large-scale shipbuilding conventions. We collaborated closely with representatives from C&A Electric to create 3D renders, diagrams, editorials, and more, that fit the strict specifications with accuracy.
